I'm replacing the passenger's side CV half shaft. I have removed the bolts that connect to the axle. How do I remove the outer half from the hub to pull the thing out? Thanks.

You will have to remove the hub from the upper and lower control arms. You will need to remove the calipers also. Do you have a service manual? If not I can scan the pages and send them to you that tell you how to do it.

You can drive it out with a brass drift or brass hammer (softer metal, doesn't mushroom the axle).

Ummmm...., tool to remove the ball joints? I always use the BFH (big fuckin hammer). Just hit the knuckle a few times and it will come loose.

Thanks guys. I had a shop do it. Only took them 1 1/2 hours. So yeah, I see how it could be a quick job.
