I am 32. been married for 13 years,been with the same woman for 17 years, have 3 kids (8,5,3). Had my sy for 2 months. But I was able to test drive one new on the lot. I was one of few people to drive a Sy with 6 miles on it. :) At the time I could not afford a 300$ truck payment even with 10k down.

I thought most were older guys.....suprised to see the age groups. Here is the big Question...any women own sy/ty's ???? Well I guess my wife owns 1/2

The age groups don't surprise me. I think a good portion of those 20 years old are later in their 20's. The owners in the late 20's/early 30's are the guy who in early 20's/late teens and remember the Syclone/Typhoon when the first came out terrorizing the street :D

just got my Ty last week after 10 years of "needing" one, god what a long wait,
but now you cant slap the smile off my face

I was 4 when the Sy came out ... I remember going to the local Chucky - Cheese esque resturant for my birthday in 92 and having my dad point a Ty out across the street at the GM dealer, telling me that we were going to get one :D ... 5 months later it was in the garage :tup: ... and now, as the second owner, it's been sitting in my garage since I was 15 :lol:

I had Just got my Drivers Lisence when the Last year of the TYs were built and have been wanting one ever since. Well here i am 28 and got one Last July, God it took for ever.

23 years old. Owner for almost 2 years now.

Older brother originally purchased the Ty. Bought it from him after he owned it for only a year. He had a lot of bills to pay. I begged him not to sell it to anyone locally. But I've drooled over syty's ever since an early age when I saw a clan of them cruising at a very popular local weekend car scene here in Minneapolis. I knew how rare they were and to see a group of them was like meeting a celebrity I swear.

Now I've got my Dad (who's been into the car scene since the 60's) hooked on syty's and I can tell he's excited. He's into/owns some muscle cars but is very impressed with what he's seen out of my truck thus far. I must be pretty lucky to be able to go out and drag/street race with my own father on the weekends. lol

I'm 27. I first came to this board 6 years ago when I orginally bought my Ty...hungry for information. Thanks to all those that have helped me out.
