"60-1 turbo" thats what he told me it had
RPM front mount
alarm with remote start
paint and interior are in good shape

"it needs new front axles" from what he said there is a popping noise from the front when u take off hard.

what do u guys think about it

Is the owner a member on here? If so, do you know what his username is? If we are familiar with the owner/truck, we can make a more "educated" guess. Right now it's a buyers market so sytys are affordable for everyone. Keeping one in perfect running is another matter altogether though...

Hard if not impossible to say without some good detailed pics and more info. Have you driven the truck? Have you put it up on a lift and checked the underside, rust, suspension, drive shafts, seals, oil leaks e.t.c.?

Has the popping been verified or is this a guess (could be a lot and cost a lot more to repair)? It has mods but bolt on's don't mean squat if it's all miss-matched parts, shoddy installation and most of all......OUT OF TUNE for the mods themselves (and can cause damage due to over boost / lean AF ratio's). Right off the bat, 85lb. injectors are pretty big for a 60-1 and prolly pig rich (better than lean though!) and even thought not mentioned, I bet 99% the ecm has been modded to run the 85's, and that can be a whole other can of worms.... if not done correctly. You need to get more info on the mod's, tune (how was it tuned.... Data Master/ Tuner Pro and does he have log files / what's the A/F and KNOCK COUNT etc.?) Off the top of my head I think $13,500 is kind high unless this Ty is pretty mint. Lot's of nice Ty's out there stock and with mods in the 7k-10k range. I'm not saying it's not a good truck or worth it but you / we need more info to help out :tup: , good pic's & log files are worth thousands of words. :2cents:

As of right now, I'm not seeing $13k but there are still many questions to be anwsered and the pic's don't show a lot of detail other than the kinda dirty engine compartment. That must be the starting "asking price". Ask what what he "realy" will take for it and go from there. :2cents:

Probably the most accurate advice right above so #1; Have someone with experience check out the Ty!!!!! Don't trust a seller on his word alone or you will most likely find yourself dis-appointed. Folks usually don't part with these vehicles when they are running perfect unless there are major indicators for big money repairs looming in the future. Kinda like dark clouds and wind moving in on a calm and blue sky day.....you sense it is coming. The Ty you describe is giving off some of those indicators.....IIWY, I'd pass on the white one and buy Rob's Ty for the same money. He is passionate about his stuff and it shows. Whatever you decide, all the best to ya!

i was going to take it to a gmc dealer on sat and have them do a full inspection then go from there

good luck with the dealer! it would be a one in a million chance that someone there knows enough about the truck to find all of the idiosyncrases (SP?) that these trucks have. finding a local sytyer in your area who has some time would be a better idea.

i wouldnt buy any truck or car in california that 1) is already smogged and inspected prior to you buying it or 2) is at least in stock form because that truck you posted cant even get going there because it is so out of stock form no matter who goes to smog it knows that that thing isnt right. also if you know nothing about the truck or these trucks, i wouldnt take it to a dealer to get it looked at, 1/4 of the dealers out there might know what the truck is, but maybe 1/16 have any clue how to tell you whats right and wrong with it.
