i was just wondering if any one had a known number of total produced
92 typhoons that came white with grey cladding. thinking of maybe selling in future, just wondering how rare this one is #0833.

thanks... Robb

nope. nobody knows right now.

and i have one sitting outside. its not one of the more rare colors.

Right now??? Is there hope that someday we will have exact production numbers according to color? I would love to know how many aspen ty's were built! PAS had to have some kind of record of it.

That info exists. It is just up to the people that now own it to decide if they ever want to give the info out.

I knew a guy that had a 92 white/grey about 6 years ago now. He picked it up in S. Dakota and had it for about 6-8 months and pissed his ol' lady off and she torched it in his driveway!

No he's not but like you... I might be too! Last time I talked to him he said he's looking for another TY either black or white/grey. He likes the white/grey color alot for some reason. It was around April the last time I saw him but if there is a good deal I think I could find him. I always liked the SY's that were black/grey and I can't remember who's SY I saw on this site but its that color. Think it was one of Morgan's friends?... :-?

White and grey here....I am almost afraid to see how many of these things show at the Nat's.....already pondering a different color scheme.

phoonTy

Truckless. For now.
white/grey here too, and at least one more white/grey here in denver. possibly two or more besides mine and ry's.

i would venture to say black/black and white/grey were the most sold in '92. just a guess though.

White/Grey 92's are a dime a dozen,kinda like Black/Black.Now if it was a White/White 92,that would be rare.......

The only really rare "mass produced" colors are Aspen Blue,Teal,Royal Blue,Red/Red and Garnet.

Well, if we assume that the Sportmachines registry contains a decent sampling ....

http://sportmachines.com/members/report.php

28 out of 180 trucks (that I've scanned the build sheets for so far)

OR

40 our of 408 trucks (that owners have reported)

Extrapolating that data to the 2500 Ty's in '92 .... means there's probably around 245 to 388 wht/gry '92 Ty's.

Unfortunately, that's as close as we can get right now. I am still scanning the build documents (get about 2 done a day) ... So, hopefully we keep getting better info.

Well then I guess there is only 1 Black/Gray Syclone around here :)

I just searched through my e-mails, the previous owners name was Chris from Innovaive Sounds Inc.

May of 2002 was the only time I ever had contect with him. I saw his truck down in Wildwood. Seemed like a cool guy. Offered to help install a sweet alarm system for me, but I just never got around to meeting him in person.

My bad Morgan. Wherever I saw the black/grey SY, I was looking at alot of pics at once and was on you NEsyty link and got it confused w/that. I'll find that SY again and get my crack smokin story straight... Thought about going that color on repaint since its something thats not very common on Sy's or at least the one's that exsist today.
