I was at parts Source today. One of the guys said that he knows of two Ty's in Winnipeg. One is white, the guy paid 12k U.S. He said he heard of a green one also, one of those a friend of a friend story, the green one is suppose to be pushing 350-400 horse. I haven't seen either yet, but going to have to check out the cruise situation and get some pics and what #'s they are.

Yeah, that make sense, I'm willing to bet there are at least 4 times as many trucks in Canada as I've recorded, most people don't hang out on the net, especially the ones who could have afforded to buy these truck new back in the early 90's.

I use to go to California back in the early 90's. I have a pic of me standing in front of a GMC dealership with 8 sy/ty's around me. I'll dig it out and scan it and post it. No jokes about me lol, it's funny to remember these things brand new and what they were worth back then.

Where is the other Ty located in Saskatchewan??

When I registered mine the provincial motor license issuer (only one choice) didn't have Typhoon's in their system. Took them a couple days to figure out what insurance would cost me and it was the first one they ever registered.

The other Sask Ty that I know of resides in Melville. It is owned by a fellow named Glen Ochs I believe, he wons a GM dealer there as well and apparently collects rare GMs. Has some ZR1's, etc if memory serves.

A freind of mine sold it to him last year, it's a green/grey, can't remeber the year though, hmmm, getting old. I may still have pics of it somewhere. It spent a few days in my garage before it was picked up.
