How long has your truck been down?

just taking a poll on who's truck has been down the longest.

i'm on just about 6 years. last time i drove mine was at the nats in 02. can anyone beat that running total? hopefully mine will be done within a few months

red one a year white one was only down like six months but hasnt been drivin in way longer than that

I bought it running inJuly it was shipped broke and just last weekend swapped in stock injectors and memcal it runs, WOW being told it wasn't the injectors and its the injector all along:rant:

Only two and a half years here after transmission #2 went.

I'm going on 3 and a half also. It started with wanting to upgrade the tranny after the local rebuild started to slip just after the warranty ran out, and just snowballed from there. But I think I can see the pinpoint of light at the end of the tunnel.

My Ty's been down for five mounts or so,she has 305600 miles on her low compression in one cylinder.Will rebuild in a couple years.For now I drive my Escort GT.

has been down this time for 7months i have owned the ty for 7 years on the third engine rebuild and the second trany,the truck has been on the road for 1-1/2 years of the 7,i hope that i can get it on the road for 7 years then let it sit for 1-1/2:rotf:

sounds like one i almost got about 2 years ago but she had 299xxx then.....

i almost traded my ls1 car for it, to 3 of the owners actually

4 1/2 on the truck 2 1/2 on the blazer

i should have gone that rought, i own a really nice sbc. hell i needed to buy everything for the sixand owned 3/4 of a bad ass motor:banghead:

If you drive it for 16 years thats low mileage.
