you dont need 700bhp for low 11´s.

dragracing is not al about HP....chassis tuning is tha key.

suspension setup,setup for the most traction that will let you run fast ET.

alot of HP and a weak chassis still will give you 14sec runs.

O yea, i don't know anything about running 11's with a ty just like you describe. Add AC, 200lbs of stereo stuff, pump gas, drove it to work today, and only at 6psi.

Damnit, I shifted around 5500 rpm, just think I could run 9's if I would shift at 15k instead.

550hp did all that.

And the 350hp syclone I helped tune only shifted at around 4500rpm, stock turbo, stock motor. Full interior, pump gas, and drove it 100miles to the track. It only went 11.9's.

You are way overthinking and getting to deep in your ideas to just only want to go 11s. 700hp? Man, you best be going a shitload faster if your making that power and have traction.

No one is purposely trying to make fun of you, but your sources of information and your thoughts requiring a high RPM motor are just not what is the norm for these trucks. Listen to what the guys are typing in here. The proof is right there in front of you.

Here is a "stock" syclone going 11s on a stock block/internals/turbo, stock injectors, razor alky, boost at 25psi and a shit-ton of tuning.

Ok!

Im 2 times european dragrace-champion in v-rod destroyer class, working in the erbacher topfuel dragraceteam.
So that means i know a little bit somthing about dragracing.....

First: the strips in europe, specially on little events wehen they drive on sirfields the tracks are really bad!!
There are soooooo many people who told that they will run 10.xx or whatever woth they special super dailydriver dragster super cars. And will go 14.... or something.
In europe thera is not in every little village a dragstrip. And the good ones are oinly for the big guys....

Maybe the car goes faster then 11,.... with that much power , but im tired about all those i run 9xxxx with only stock this stock that, etc., etc.... I belive it that its possible to run 11, with stock turbo on perfekt conditions, but how i said things are diffrent over here...

when you guys are the bests and the fastetst (special mister twinturbo) then run your 9sec. runs (btwe wired that the vtg-typhoon on youtube oinly run low nine`s with 1200hp....)

Im here in the forum to get some informtions and try to get help and dont wanna get stupid answers about 200kg stereo and whaterver!

AND if you are in the top feul business you must now its all about traction weight suspension.

he is not going to listen to anyone he is covenienced that he needs to spin the motor the 10k to keep that turbo spooled let him.

That turbo is not that big where you need to spin the motor that high maybe 6300 or so. Look at all the big names on the board here that use big turbo not the thing that you listed but 90+mm turbos. There are only a handful that run them I think robert, the hoovers, and maybe a couple of others that is it. Yes they run high rpms but they need it.

Also i hope that you have a deep pocket book becasue if you want to start to spin a 4.3 high you will need alot of money. That is all i am saying there are proven builds on here that will make alot of power and let you go 10s without 700hp. Hell just look up Phil long (turbo6) he went 10s on a stock motor that had never been opened. and he was only making 400hp at the wheels.

I am done with this stepping off my soap box. You need to do a lot of research and learn before contraditcting people on here.

I was putting out 390 HP/500 Ft Lbs and going 11.20 all day long. AWD Dyno .

We had a slight break in the crank which caused this problem after tearuing motor down and rebuilding it.

Of Course any of 412, 415, or 422 cams are not going to get you there without lots of boost and good tuner.

I was also running Big Stuff 3 with an awesome tuner and only runing 17-18lbs of boost not even launching the truck hard but enough for 1.60 60 ft times.

Suspension work and good parts --- i was running GT35R turbo

Built stock block, splayed, nitrided crank, eagle rods, je pistons, vortec fully ported heads, air air intercooler, 1 5/8 headers, 3 inch atr exhaust, fully built trans, (custom Cam) nitto drag radials.
