How do I set my timing???

Hi all,

How do I set my timing at 0 degrees???

I betcha if you do a search on "TDC" you will find more than enough info on the subject.

Yep, that's true. Anyway you will need a few things. A timing light, a distributor wrench and a TDC check. You can get these from summit, jegs etc. Also you should allways disconnect your timing bypass connector (tan wire under passenger side dash) when you adjust timing.

You may want to confirm that you are at TDC on #1 when the mark lines up at zero. It takes a little more effort but it will remove future doubt if you are having issues that seem to be timing related.

I did that right after I got my truck. It just helps to know that the basics of the ignition system are properly adjusted.
