How do you fix the back seat Flop? When I hit the brake the seat just drops down and when I hit the accelerator it slams back. Same with the passenger seat, but not as bad as the back. Its very disturbing. Got to fix it soon.
Tranny is rebuild and the truck runs fine (Total cost 3600$ most of it is loan).

3 weeks after I bought the truck the Tranny broke so know when I drive the TY I can feel my balls in my throat,I am afraid that something costly is going to brake again. Natural reaction maybe?
Come summer I´ll be kicking some as.
Thanx for the help

I have found a FREE fix for the back seat flop. Lay it down. It is easy. It is free. Explain to people that your back seat is broke and you have a two seater.

Yeah, I just keep mine folded down,I very rarely ever take more then 1 person in the Ty,so it just stays folded down.

You don't want the GM flop fix kit. It's a rip off. Either leave the back seat down or buckle the rear seat belts.

You don't even need to buckle the seat belts. Just make sure they are in front of the seat. When you hit the brakes, the inertia will cause the belt to tighten which keeps the seat from flopping. THIS REALLY WORKS!!! I noticed my back seat started flopping again, couldn't figure out why, then I remembered that I tucked the belts back behind the seat while spraying a fresh coat of leather conditioner on the seat. Put the belts back in front of the seat and presto...magic-free-back-seat-flop-fix-kit.
