Houston Area Test and Tune July 14th HRP.

Well were putting together another test and tune session here in houston, except this time were going to baytown to Houston Raceway Park and run 1/4 mile instead of 1/8 mile, im looking forward to getting some true 1/4 mile times, id love to be able to pull a 13.2 or better.

Anyways there wil be a buddy of mine out there in his fully built bug, and some of the HASTE crew wil be there im sure, would be nice to have some syty's out there running.

I know its not a super early notice, but shoudl be early enough for you to make plans to be at the track with us on July 14th.

This is a friday night, so id try and get there as early as possible as it can get real busy and then you spend most of the night in line in the staging lanes and only getting a few runs.

Gates open at 5pm, staging lanes open at 5:30 pm and they close the staging lanes at 10 or 10:30 pm.

Hope to see some fellow Sy Ty buds out there.

Well you got till the July 14th to get them replaced.

If you want some help from someone thats done it before let me know and ill be glad to give you a hand.

I got my ty back on sat afternoon, I have nolan working on the tune. It might be road trip ready by then, but not sure since i travel during the week and can only tune on the weekends.

it seems like everyone plans things when i can't make it. oh well i'm kinda too ashamed of my truck right now to be seen in it so it's okay i guess. wish i could make it

Ok, well due to some unforseen circumstanses, we have pushed the date back to July 14th, so that gives everbody almost a month to get there truck fixed and out to the track.

I should have my IC systen completley redone by then and will hopefully be runnging some high 12"s with the ice water circulating.

Well, since my dam motor blew, i wont be there in the Ty, wont have the new engine here in time to get it running, but i am still planning on being out there, and would love to see some more SyTy's show up and remind everybody what these trucks are all about.

Yeah id be more than happy to bring my cable and laptop and run some datalogs on your truck for you.

I am in the process of purchasing the blue truck in Lufkin and will take delivery Thurs. evening. I sold all of my stuff with my last truck so you would be helping out immensly.

Are you buying Caspers truck?? Z06 wheels, wood trim on the dash??

Thats a pretty nice truck, has alot of work done to it.

Congrats on the new Ty, and ill see you out at the track friday night.

I think I may be there with the red Ty and datamaster. Wish I had time to upgrade the chip and injectors first. It was starving baaaad at the 1/8 mi track last week.

Do you live on the east side/channelview area? If so, I believe that I met your wife @ beltway and woodforest. I asked her a few questions about the ty (mainly if it was for sale) and she told me her husband had a built monster back at the house.

Yeah you have the right guy there, and just like most Sy's and Ty's his built monster is stuck at home sitting on jack stands.

Man we need to figure out whats up with the brakes so that monster can get to the track.
