After running my air intake temps up to 200* I decided to try some meth injection. I when with the Razor kit for the SY/TY. I looked into many other kits and i belive this one to be the most complete kit as well as highest quality. There tech line was also very helpfull in explaining the Meth install, tuning and capabilites. I did some test runs on the street and i saw my air intake temps drop to 70* This should improve my ETs and reduce the chance of Knock. Tuesday Night at the track Ill put it to the test. Heres some installed pics of the kit

200, ouch! I don't recall mine ever getting that hot. I'm running the KB air to air. Wonder why your so high? Glad to see the meth bring you down. Can't wait for mine to be installed.

nice :tup: , I have the same kit works great, you might want to be careful with washer fluid some of it might have detergents in it and that can cause issues.

yeah i hear the same thing about the washer fluid. atco sells meth no lube just buy a 5gal gas can and have them fill it. fill it up before you go if you dont drive it on the street it should last 20-30 or so passes. i love the kit had it on my ty and still have it on my gn. julio is a great guy and has good customer service. i will try to make it out tuesday. my ty and gn and jeffs ty all stay in the 70s.

I was running strait meth. 4$ a gallon. My temps were around 120* on a pass without it and it drops to 70-80* with it spraying. i am using the rpm a2a.

Dean im running 28 pounds of boost threw a rpm intercooler!! Thats why its so hot. Have you cranked that thing up yet. Your truck is sweet ass sweet!!

I would look for something else than washer fluid. The more you use the bluer your intake and everything behind it will become. A lot of guys on my subaru forums used it and ended up having the issues of dying everything blue.

wow, 200 degree temps huh. Yeah its time for some meth for you, lol.

If you search around your area and find a place that sells gases in 55 gallon's. They can order pure meth. I know the place around me wanted $145 for 55 gal. That is one hell of a great deal. Considering one little bottle of HEET is about $2. And it takes about 12 to get a gallon I think.

I have been using washer fluid most of the time, sometimes dry-gas and never had a problem.
Maybe something I dont know?

I had the same kit on my Typhoon and was getting methanol locally for $2.25/gal not buying it in large quantities either. Just 5gal here and there and it should last quite a while. I think I was using about a half gallon of methanol to a tank of 91oct gas of daily driving so it's substantially more cost effective than running race gas. Love the stuff. When I finally get around to going turbo on the Supra it will probably have the same kit on it too. Double the boost on pump gas is amazing.

One of my vendors sells Boost Juice so i orderd that for use in the system. I fiinished the kit friday nite and decided to hit Walmart at 9pm for the washer fluid to test the system out. Ill have the good stuff for the track tuesday night.

if i understand it correctly the washer fluid is only about 20% methanol (if that) so it will surely help with inlet air temps, but will not allow you to run C16 programming on 91 and washer fluid alone.

I think that the winter blends are better than 80% methanol. I still wouldn't run it though. 100% methanol is too cheap to mess with running something that could have ingredients that are bad. It's not like you're saving tons of money and in some cases will even spend more for washer fluid.

I run ethanol (denatured alcohol from Home Depot) for daily street use. Methanol (Heet) for the track. Ethanol helps lower the intake temperatures, but does not boost octane as effectively as Methanol.

Then why bother with heat or ethanol? I mean, some people run race gas that's $7/gal and I don't understand why a couple of bucks to supplement an entire tank of gas is so expensive to where people take short cuts to save a few cents. Doesn't add up to me.

Mine used to rise from 80 to 190 on a full pull b4 meth/water...now it stays somewhere between 50 and 90

so where do u think I can get pure meth in 5gal ?
