heh my brother hit me up last night, asking if i was going to the bensalem syty meet. A guy he knows/works with has a ty and a gn and some other stuff and was telling him about it. (The guy knows his brother is a syty nut) Just found it funny. I told him he should stop out...so if some clown that sorta looks like me shows up claiming his name is Renz...he is tellin the truth.

We're all set for NASTE '09 on Sunday. They're calling for a sunny 64 spring-like degrees!

I will be arriving around 12:45. If anyone gets there sooner, please have SyTy's park together as they arrive and Buicks park together (for photo purposes). All other vehicles can form a third section. Fords can park across the street. j/k

Bring a few extra bucks to tip the waitresses outside; if they good-looking we can ask them to pose in front of trucks (makes a great avatar!). Last year, no waitresses qualified. :squint: But that was New Jersey. :rotf:

And yes, I'll have some Hooters '08 shirts to unload: 4 bucks.

Good times today. Perfect weather. Small, but quality group of SyTyers. I counted 11 trucks total (2 Syclones, 9 Typhoons) and 13 Turbo Regals including a GNX.

What i like is that by inviting the GN crowd, some SyTy owners who were not previously part of SyTy.net showed because word-of-mouth at MAGNA (mid-atlantic grand national association) is so strong. We might have a few new "members" as a result.

Pictures to follow soon (Nick?).

btw, toyed with an Infiniti G35 on the way home. I got him out of the hole but he pulled away and then I realized I was in overdrive. :roll:

Sucks I missed the meet. I really wanted to go. Great day for it and all. Just a really shitty (worse then the usual) weekend pain wise so I couldn't make it. Hope everyone had a good time.

I look forward to pix of the GNX because as I think of it, I don't remember the car having fender flares. The rear diff did not have "GNX" embossed in it (after a quick look) and the owner had covered the VIN. Possible clone.

Sorry to those who missed the day. It was short-sleeve weather in November! The girls were fairly hot (better than NJ) but they only stayed outside for a few photos around Frank's truck, then bolted inside as I was collecting tip money for them. Skanks!!

I have quite a few pics. I'll get them up in a few minutes. The GNX did have fender flares, and he also had the number on the glove compartment, so I believe its legit. I don't think I've ever seen one of them in real life before, so that was worth 3 hours of driving right there. Angie even had a good time, which is amazing since she's never been in the Ty for more than 15 minutes before without feeling nauseous.
