Re: Hood rod elimination kits

whoa, thats pretty spanish

hello my question is in Spanish, my friend that sells used car models are the shock absorber or what is in the pictures of the typhoon's shock red hood with aluminum corners where and how are they placed or ...affixed? to the bracket thanks.

Hi Phil, where do they sell the gas shocks with the aluminum corners like the red typhoon in the photos and he told me that they should be 20 inches, thanks.

If only i knew more spanish...it would make more sense

Re: Hood rod elimination kits

I build the brackets which subsequently are bolted to each fender and to a specific location on the bottom of the hood. The fender brackets are installed in a specific location, which is shown on the installation instructions that I include with each kit.

The gas springs snap onto the 10mm ball that is on each bracket. The gas spring has a retainer clip that keeps the gas spring attached to the brackets.

Hopefully this answers your question.

Kits are shipping on Tuesday.

Each of you should have received a PDF of the installation instructions. Let me know if you did not.

Thanks for your patience
