i pull up at the gas station the other day to get a red bull and when i get out there is some a$$ hole in a red crx parked like 5 inches from my passenger door. So i think nothing of it and i just start my ty and turn up the system like normal and the vibrations from my subs set off his alarm which i thought was pretty funny but i guess he didn't so he comes out and starts yelling at me why i put a system in my shitty blazer i just laugh and back up and leave about a mile down the road this ass hat catches a light with me and wont quit reving his fart cannon at me so i build a little boost and launch him. i put about 15 car lenths on him before i shut it down at about 90. Stupid ricers!

Should have asked him why he would even buy a CRX to begin with and why in the hell it required an alarm?! At least you put him in his place!

Your car lengths must be different than mine. I lost lastnight to a 10.0 sec car at the track , running 14.5 and it wasnt 15 lengths, lol ---

When the car lengths become large number it does become hard to judge. I actually don't find 15 cars lengths on CRX (especially if its CRX lengths) hard to believe. I have been in high 13 sec cars racing low 16 cars and it got to be 12-15 cars through a full 1/4 mile...

Either you had much better reaction time or maybe you were counting bus lengths, but I have a hard time believe a 10.0 is only 15 cars over a 14.5 What is your 1/8 mile 9 secs, MPH around 85mph? 1/8 mile is 660 feet, 85 mph is around 60ft/sec. That put you around 720 feet at 10 sec or anout 600 feet behind, using 20ft per car that is 30 cars behind :D

Its also easier to put car lengths on a slower car than it is a faster car, because of the speeds. (ie a 14 sec car would put more cars on 17 sec car than an 11 sec would on 14 sec.)

I would of got out of the truck and asked him to run that by me one more time and if he called my truck a shitty blazer I would of knocked his teeth out. I had some jackass in an isuzu rodeo cuss me out on the road for doing 5mph over in a school zone. He tried cutting me off after the school zone then asked me to get out of the car and so we pull in a parking lot then I get out of the Typhoon and he drives off lol. I hate it when people randomly try to start shit with you.

unless he has $10k+ in the motor in the crx you should slaughter him in any situation, he doesnt have a chance from a light. for example, i lost pretty bad to a 1999 jeep grand cherokee V6 in a stock crx. I'd say it takes me roughly 5 seconds to get thru 1st gear (~30mph) at WOT. alarms arent necessary, i dont even bother locking the doors when i go in a store unless theres something im worried about stealing (radios already gone). who wants to steal a crx?

i do like the old style civic's v-tec's though...i hate crx's... but thsse little 150HP 4 bangers that you can run up to 10kRPM, and it starts to rummle around 4K rpm..brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrwrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrooooooooor
