Re: HID head light conversion interest?
Can you take a picture of what that housing looks like lit up?

however, it still has a halogen high beam, only the top half of the lens really lights up, and no suggestion of a cutoff really. And its still in the neighborhood of $600.

The rectangular reflector doesn't bother me paticularly, so I'm kinda interested
slamdxterra said:i have sold a set of conversions like that! I have Bi-Xenon H4s also. Which means you will get high and low beam HID in one package! I will post pics soon of the light output and the projector should help with the HOT SPOTS and glare.

redneckwonder said:Yes, I assume you are talking about the pictures against the blue barn. You are right the rectangular reflector beam doesnt have as much light on the ground as I would like either, however, take note that the beam was much higher on the barn. While I was standing outside messing with it, you would get about 1/3 to 1/2 as much light on the ground. I was aiming from about 40" up too. I assume that a Syclone sits probably around the 32'' mark? This would allow for a better beam distribution on the ground.
I havent done anything more than assemble the prototype. As far is fitment, I see zero issues. I would mount it, but also I dont have a SyTy.
If there is an idea you have for the rectangle reflector to make it more appealing to a certain application, feel free to let me know!
