Hey guys. I have a 92 sonoma that my granddad gave to me and I can't wait to fix it up to look like some of your trucks. I would really like to get a body kit like you guys have. Where can I get a body kit for my truck? I also have a v6 in my truck and look for doing upgrades like a cold air kit and lowering the truck.:tup:

Welcome!

Prepare to spend something like 4,000 dollars on Syclone body cladding. If you're still interested, contact SportMachines.

Re: hi

doesn't jcwhintey sell a body kit? someone told me i could just buy one form them

Yes you can get body kits from online places like LMC Truck, ExtremeDimensions, Andy'sAutoSport, etc. but these arent the sy/Ty body pieces, these are other body kits which for the most part don't look too much like the Sy/Ty cladding pieces

But if you specifically want the "body kit" (cladding) that we have on our Syclone/Typhoon/Sonoma GT trucks, it will cost thousands since these body pieces are no longer produced, and were only produced in limited quantities. For one corner piece on my Typhoon, I payed several hundred dollars for an original NOS part. There are a couple cheap reproduction pieces floating around, but they don't look right, they don't line up right, and the producers of these replica pieces seem to have stopped making them.

In fact, just the name badge decal sets for these trucks run anywhere from 50-60 bucks for replicas, up to 200-300 dollars or more for original oem replacements.

It's a very expensive look, and unfortunately probably the most delicate as well. It seems like just an impact from a tennis ball could break cladding tabs lol :squint:

Your best bet is to find a Sonoma GT kit I paid about $600 for the one I have on my truck and good luck post some pix
