Help quick!

There is a hole in the side of the block on the passenger side, about the same level as the motor mount but all the way forward. On our trucks its about 2" deep but there is no passegeway through to anywhere. On the non turbo trucks the passege is drilled through and there are 3 bolt holes to hold something on there. What goes there? Can I make a block off plate for that?

I think you are talking about the manual fuel pump boss.

That would be for where the fuel pump boss used to be. It's now just a blank opening in the block. It won't be a problem leaving it open.
With all the stuff on the truck you won't see it anyhow.

Most parts stores sell manual fuel pump block off plates.

A ford fuel pump block off works on the GM stuff. same vendor that did the Ford & GM stuff.

Thanks fellas, I ordered one off ebay. Mike if I saw that first I definately would have got it from you. On a seperate not, do you have the intake gasket set? If I cant get one overnighted tomorrow morning I cant go home for christmas. If not, anyone know where I can get one?
