I just took the plunge on my 4l80e! I found a 2002 4L80e from a 4x4 GM truck with 120k miles on it. The tranny runs and drives perfect, comes with everything including the aluminum dust cover and converter all for a whopping $300.
I am no longer going to be needing my freshly built 700R4 if anyone is interested. The tranny has less than 500 miles since complete rebuild and has a shift kit already installed. Also, I have a brand new (still in the box) COAN 10" Pro Street converter with a 3000 stall that will be included in the sale of the transmission. Here is the catch... I can't remove/replace my 700 until I have all the pieces to complete the swap. The only thing I am still missing is the 32 spline input shaft for my transfer case which I'm havering trouble locating. If your interested in my 700 and are willing to help me find and acquire the input shaft I'm needing, I will hook you up with a SMOKING GOOD DEAL!!
