Is there some kind of hook or bolt in the middle of our rear trunk floors?

all I have there is a hole where something should be.

Anyone know what should be there and whet the gm part number is?

Thank you

Not sure, but it sound like you are talking about the cargo net retainer. Check with some other Typhoon Owners on this.

John can you give some more information on this. 1. Is there a impression in the carpet like a triangle with the bolt hole at the top? 2.If you site along a straight line from one side to the other, do what look like attachment points line up?

There is a "V" impression in the carpet and a threaded hole in the floor. I'm going to a chevy dealer tommorrow. I'd like to tell him a gm part number to order for me. All of your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks again

its an anchor for securing loads in the back; a triangle-shaped hook mounts to the triangle shaped mounting plate (hence the triangle impression in the carpet), and it is all secured with a T45 or T50 torx bolt. Same one on all blazers / jimmys, so don't hunt for a "Typhoon" piece; hit the junkyard.

As for PN, I'm lost there. :dunno:
