Help me get my Ty torsion bars back together right!! PLEASE

Alright, Im trying to put back together correctly the Ty front suspension. This thing was lowered by switching the keys at the torsion bar mount upside down. Im trying to get it back together stock so that I can then just lower it a little from stock to sit decent, via the bolts. I put the stuff all together where you had to drop the lower control arm down to get the key/ bolt deal in, then jacked the control arm up to get the spindle and everything all bolted together. This netted me a truck that sat like it had an 8 inch lift in the front. You couldnt push it down at all, it was stuck up. I disassembled again, rotated the key ONE point on the torsion bar.(seems to be like 6 sided) then set the truck down and back all the way to the ground it went. No suspension at all, just down on the bumpstops, couldnt pick it up if you had to. I need some pointers on how to put this shit together if you were starting from scratch, torsion bars and all out on the ground. Nothing to mark or go off of, cuz it was all wrong to begin with. I know the basics are covered, the keys are facing the right way, bolts and all that, that i have established by referencing other vehicles...... any help???

Re: Help me get my Ty torsion bars back together right!! PLEASE

I need some help as well in this area . I saved this for last since I couldnt figure it out . My first attempt left my sy on the jack and didnt leave enough heigth to pull the jack out . Second try , I disconnected the lower control arm , let it hang all the way down and put the key on the bar using the jack and socket deal from the link above .

Now its has the super swamper look and doesnt give much when I push down on it . I am getting faster at this process with each new attempt , but still this sucks big time .

Anyone have better assembly info ??
