Help Installing Datamaster

I just got a Dell D610 from Ebay and I'm trying to install datamaster. When I put the disc in the laptop it tries to scan and then it will stop. I tried to find the CD-ROM in My Computer but I can't find it. My dad used this disc in a old laptop around 8 years ago to find knock. I also have internet connection if that has anything to do with it. The Version is 3.2.5. Could the disc be to old to run?

Could be a bad CD ROM drive... do you have another computer you can try the disc in? Or, try another disc in the drive and see if it sees it....

If you still can't figure it out, you might try going to http://www.ttspowersystems.com/. You can download datamaster off their site. You have to buy it for like $100, just an option if you still can't get the CD to work.

I put another CD in the laptop and it worked just fine. I also tried putting the Datamaster disc in my home PC and it didn't do anything. I really don't want to buy a new program when my dad gave me this one. I want to try to figure out this, when most guys say that they like the older versions better.

Also I wrote TTS an email saying the same thing I wrote below. I really appreciate the help. :tup:

I took Eric16's suggestion and downloaded the latest DM software version 3.5.1. It was a free download. All I need is the authorization code. I'm probably gunna call TTS and explain to them that my dad bought this program 8 years ago and we don't have the code anymore.

Also I'm going to try and plug the DM in my typhoon just to write down the IDLE numbers and see if they are ok.
