I lay a 2x4 across the back edge of the rim and hit it with a BFH.
Rotate wheel 90* and do it again.

The 2x4 spreads the load across the tire sidewall so you dont risk nicking the rim.

On my 200k mile BMr I not only had to beat the wheels off but it took me almost an hour of constant sledging to break the rotors loose from the hub.

I agree on opening up the axle hole on the back of the wheel to get a hair more clearance.
That's what you get for putting vette wheels on a cumero. lol j/k

Do you SERIOUSLY think that having the wheel on the wrong side could cause this....because I DONT.

No I don't, If you reread my post, the comment about the wheels mounted on the wrong side was to answer your question.

They may be mounted the wrong direction ( I questioned that too ) , this f'n place did the same thing with my "rotation specific" tires on the sy....time to go back and bitch about it .... then demand they pop them off for me ;) ... I just mounted them with the arrow pointing forward, I am getting PISSED ---

Then I said what the problem was.

Sounds like the rim is stuck on the axle flange. To get them off try grabbing the rim at the 3pm and 9pm and rocking it back and forth, (IE- in on the front side of rim, out on the rear of the rim) while keeping a steady pulling pressure. Warning it is a pain in the butt, But has always work for me.
