Re: Help for tuning

Wow. We have another Nashville member? SWEET!

Best bet would be to get with Jeff Scott. We have a Mid-TN meet coming up soon that there will be several smart people at (and a few dumb ones).

Welcome.

Re: Help for tuning

I can help you. But you will need to set your truck up so I can tune with code$59.

If you look at the tuning section of this forum you will see a link to code$59.org. It has a lot of info. The equipment you need will be listed.

I am not a great tuner. But I should be able to help you get it running pretty good. And some of the members on here are great tuners and very helpful.

Also it would be a good idea not to get into boost if you have modified the engine. You could damage the engine pretty easily.

Re: Help for tuning

I live in Hendersonville.

To get started you will need to set it up with a wide band o2 sensor.

This is the one I used.

If you aren't doing with a display.
http://www.moates.net/plx-smafr-w-wb-sensor-p-162.html?cPath=48

This will save a lot of wear and tear.

http://www.moates.net/g1-memory-adapter-tpi-etc-p-32.html?cPath=31

This if the stuff I can think of you will need so someone else can tune your truck. If they have the tuning equipment. When you start tuning yourself. And you will need to learn to do that. You will have to buy more stuff.
