Help! Drivers side header getting red hot under boost!!!!!

Hi guys, I have a set of KB headers on my built syclone. I always open the hood to let out the extra heat no matter if I beat on it or not. The problem that Im having is that the driver side header gets red hot( or I should say orange hot) when ever Im under boost but the passenger side seems to be fine. Is this normal for these headers being that the passenger practically dumps directly into the turbo and has less travel then the drivers side? Thanks for any help.

Truck runs perfect witha perfect a/f. No stumbling or anything. The drivers side header just glows when ever I run it in boost and the passenger side doesnt. Thanks

Check timing. I had the same thing and timing was very low. I was using one of the old KB knock controllers at the time which confused the timing. After I removed it I found the timing was retarded about 12 degrees.

Normal to glow yes, normal for you to get out and open hood in time probably not.

Could be ok, how do plugs look.
