HELP - Bad rods??

Mended my broke tranny w/ BH's & GB's help. Thanks much, guys! New problem ---

What / when do your hear a bad rod and what is the sound like? Got a rattly sound, more like a muffler w/ loose baffles on gentle acelleration & right after getting off the throttle. Made a WOT run, got a few degrees of KR during the WOT, but the MAX of 18 deg for a second or so right after letting off the throttle. Oil pressure seems down a bit also.

Advice...PLEASE tell me it ain't so....

Forgot to mention, rods are Eagles, pistons are Diamond, engine professionally built last winter.

sounds like rod bearings to me you will lose some oil press. when they go bad sounds like the same thing that just happened last year in my 88 gta i had to replace the crank and i put all new bearings in ther and it seems to be doin ok good luck
