Help Bad relocate?

Okay I let my brother relocate my battery so i could run a cold air box, now the truck will not restart after it runs. I checked the grounds, they look good I put a new starter solenoid on it while the starter was out. it has a new alternator and optima red top. (he truck will instantly start if put on a sharger if that is any help) Any help please.

Is there a short in the truck? If you place a test light on the negative terminal does it light up?

Sounds like the battery is no longer getting a good charge from the alternator. Check connections, or maybe excessive resistance from undersized alternator wire?

What gauge wire was run to the battery?
