Hi everyone, I'm high school senior that will be graduating in a few weeks soon, I don't own a Sy/Ty, but some time in the future I would love to own a Syclone, I've always been a die-hard fan of the Sy/Ty because of their looks and performance, and still for the fact that being as old as they are, can still own most cars on the strip, I don't currently own anything since I don't have a license, but I'll be taking my driving tests soon, I guess for now the closest thing to a Syclone is my 1:25 model. :rotf:

Welcome! Read up on this site. You may want to seriously think about a different vehicle for a daily driver, especially for a first vehicle.

First Priority always, also to hatrik8, I know the Sy isn't a great DD, reading from other threads they seem to need constant work, but it would be awesome having one as a project truck.

Depending on your skills, money and enthusiasm a Sy daily driver isn't too far fetched for the right kid. If you can afford the upkeep and the possibility of a tranny rebuild and the like, why not? Purchasing the right truck to start with and ensuring maintenance upkeep is done, fuel system is good and tune is right would be helpful. Doing retarded stuff, having retarded stuff break, and not having the cash to fix that retarded stuff is where I have seen some of our younger friends go astray.
