here's my dilemma:
i purchased the craigmoates autoprom 1 (usb version), and am running tunerpro RT.
i have the "stock" .ads file (i believe) for the 7749 ecm but when i try and connect it cannot read the ecm. from doing some reading i have come to the following conclusions: (i believe)
Running the 3 bar calibration for a sy/ty/sgt there may be another .ads file available,
the 7749 ecm is a chatterbox and there should be some kind of code to silence the chatter and allow it to send data, does anyone have this line of code.
3rd off, i have tried datamaster, works alright but doesnt display boost correctly and a couple other things making it not worth the price that they want to charge at least until i can work out weather these issues are with the car or the software, example is knock count going over 70,000 counts and resetting. so as of right now i don't know if that is correct, i don't show any DTC (error codes) if anyone can offer me some insight into this it would be greatly appreciated....
