heads

I have a set of late model L35 fast burn heads that have been extensively worked on a pretty strong motor. It is matched to a stock, but supposedly also maxed out sy intake. they have manley 2.02/1.60 valves, crane gold self centering rockers and K-motion springs. I'm sure the work was done well. I bought the engine this way. My question is does anyone know how much better a set of highly worked vortecs would be over a set of highly midified L35's? Would I pick up enough to make it worthwhile? I know this is a tough question but I don't have the motor apart so I can't have them flowed and I was looking to upgrade the engine a little and I didn't know if vortecs would be much better. Would my next step up be something like a nascar bowtie or pontiac head which would mean a WHOLE bunch of other stuff as well. Does anyone know the max potential of the L35 as opposed to vortecs?

thanks for any good opinions

race or get outta the way
if you search here there is a comparison of stock lb4 heads flowing around 160, l35 heads flowing @195 and stock vortecs flowing @250.
i didnt go look for it but as you can see the vortecs flow bettter than the others.
The shape of the combusiton chamber also makes them less suseptible to kr.
