I'm thinking of taking on my Ty headliner as a DIY. One thing that is in the back of my mind:

My truck has a powered sunroof that I gather was installed as a dealer option. the sliding tray under the glass is a little too free to slide for my liking. If you launch hard, it will fling open just under the force of acceleration. Has anyone laid eyes on one of these to know offhand whether there is any adjustment or modification needed to tighten it up a bit. I didn't want to get all the way in only to find out I needed to order some sort of rubber seal or trim.

Update on this. I found a very effective two-step process to get a good result on my headliner re-do.

Step 1) Drop truck off at a place with a name like "Headliners Plus"
Step 2) Swipe credit card and enjoy your new headliner

I decided to leave this one to the pros. Cost me $240 for the roof, both visors, and the sunroof cover. Guy said it was a nightmare due to the sunroof tray. It looks great though, and I didn't break anything.
