i just had the same thing occur with my KB header, coated with Hyper Coat Extreme, the best highest temp coating avail, from what i know...Similar place, at the collector but mine was cracked at the passenger side. Point being , i had mine fixed by Mike Lee at www.raceprovenmotors.com , to add, it was a pain in the but to align the x-pipe after, but it worked out fine.
