Has anyone?

I'm working on putting the last piece of cladding back on the truck. It's the front wheel arch on the passenger side but the part that connects up front just behind the bumper cover was broken when i got it.

Has anyone rebuilt that piece or can anyone remake it?

Check with Sports machines they carry most pieces. I believe they have a fiberglass remake also

Good luck

It can be repaired. I just fixed that piece on my truck. Is that piece broken were it attaches to the finder? Thats were mine broke. I used a plastic welder. It worked very well. I'm not having as good luck with the epoxy for plastic. I'm sure its operator error. But it should also work.

Re: Has anyone?

The circled part is where it broke right where the piece attaches to the cladding. I don't have the piece that broke off so epoxy isn't really an option. Is plastic welding the only way to really go?

Several members use epoxy with success. You could probably make a piece that will work. I picked up a old plastic bumper that I found on the side of the road for material. I would at least give it a try.

My Sy was missing that piece when I bought it. I made an aluminum bracket and epoxy it to the cladding. At the time I had access to metal brake and good piece of cladding to mold it after. It took little trial error to get it correct.

Drill a small hole into the cladding lip and place a bolt with washer through it. Attach a piece of wire (clothes hanger thickness) to it on the back side and tighten on with the nut. Then attach the other end to the fender bolt. When all is said and done, you should not be able to see it because the bumper cover will hide it. Cheap fix and it works great.

I was going to do basically the same thing T-Bone said, but use zip ties and a loop on the bolt where that originally attaches. Mine is missing too. I would be interested in a fibreglass one if sportmachines is going to make them.

Just to be clear. I was talking about the missing piece from graham's piece. Either way i will check our inventory tonight. But I do know we have OEM repaired and NOS cladding in stock.

Yep, that's what I'm talking about too, the missing ear on the front where it attaches to the rad support.
