H4 headlamp conversion pics

today i performed swapping out my sealed beam headlights with Bosch H4 headlamps and Sylvania Silverstar Bulbs. Thanks to Jer for the help with what i needed.

it was a snap, took about 30 min. was about $135 total.

yes, they are so much brighter.

stock = 25-30ft. beam that is visible

H4 = 50-60ft. beam that is visible

they have a blueish tint at the top of the beam, kinda like HIDs. i love them:tup:

Next thing you gotta do is upgrade the wiring. voltage from the battery not the light switch.

get H4 bulbs from Jer, and search on ebay for toyota supra(MK4?) H4 headlamp conversion

30 min to do everything?
Dont u have to take down the bumper to replace the blinkers w/ clears??

nope. you can get to the top screws by the bumper light and then the bottom screw by the fog lamp. really easy:tup:

Nah.. you want the MKIII Supra conversion kit (pre-94) to be a direct swap for our trucks. The MKIV's use a large round projector assembly (see my sig pic for reference). Get the Bosch one as it is about the best for lighting and you don't want a crap housing or no amount of bulb will help. Then order the Silverstar H4's from me. Harness plugs right into the H4's and stock wattage so no need for upgraded harnesses or wiring.

For just over $100 total you'll be pleasantly surprised by how much better you can see at night.
Best hundo I could think to spend on these trucks.. unless you only drive during the day.
