Give it a chance. I'm like the rest of you. I want to see it when it's done. It'll kinda suck in a parking lot because it swings out before up so have to be kinda by yourself. It may turn out good. Looks like there is a lot of work in it. It's outside the box for sure.

Custom Cars And Bikes Of Colorado LLC is parting out a 1992 GMC Typhoon. Engine was rebuilt and the 700R4 Transmission was also rebuilt, has a high stall torque convertor and a shift kit in it. Have all the cladding pieces, some need a little TLC. Interior has no tears in it. Turbo is larger than stock, but is also in good condition. Will sell parts or entire vehicle. Has to be towed away, due to it being pretty torn apart. The vehicle was a Gullwing Door Project that never got finished. Will consider reasonable offers. If interested, please call or come by out shop.

I was going to try and go look at this thing over the weekend. He wants $4,500 for the truck as it sits. Does not run, and has no interior.
He will sell as is or part it out. More $$ than I think it's worth but he had some parts that I was interested in. If I'm able to make it down I'll take pics for everyone.

I had a strong feeling that truck would never get finished... I don't know how you could make the gullwing work on doors that heavy.

I just went and looked at this Ty today. This Ty has been here in town for YEARS. I remember when it was Teal, it was a damn good looking truck. Owner painted it a green flake or something and I personally thought it looked awful. I hadn't seen the truck until about winter 09 or so. I went in to the shop to investigate this Hydrothol thing and saw it in there getting the gull wing mod. It looked so damn awful I walked out laughing my ass off.
Seeing it in person is super depressing. I told Rusty, the owner that if he needs help parting it out I am up to help out. After all, there are a few things I want off of it:lol: We are meeting up on Friday to talk about it. Honestly, I don't think this truck is worth saving.
