Looks good. I always think about getting my cladding painted. Then I am afraid to pull it off and find rust or something bad like that. If you dont mind what does it cost to get it all painted? How much time is involved with removing/ installing the cladding?

Re: got the cladding painted

not much time putting it on, i have never taken it off every one i have ever installed was off when i got it. :) i had a friend paint it at his shop so it did not cost me much but i got a quote for it before i knew he could do it for 1000-1500 depending on amount of time into it. lets just say i paid not even close to that.

btw i will lower it when i am done with the cladding i have a extra set of 2" blocks around here somewhere.

Re: got the cladding painted

Might be a stupid question but is there a clear coat on the cladding?

yup painted and cleared just not fully buffed out yet, you can see in some pics the white powder from the hand buffing

Nice... - How was the cladding prepped? I've heard bad things happen if you don't get all the wax-polish-shine goop off before it is painted. I've also heard that it can be baked out... I still get that haze on mine although I haven't put stuff on the cladding in years...

Nice, mines done on my Sy and it makes sucha difference. Might I recommend getting some spacers for the rear wheels. They look set in a bit....wrong offset???

Painted cladding really does make a big deference, especially black trucks.
Been on my to do list for years...
