Yea..kinda like getting a ticket for no front plate.....Ore/Wa 2 of the few states that require it....Yet you get the ticket cuz you will pay it...not like the scumb bag with the POS car with no brake light...

you can do traffic school over the net. Its a joke and you can do it over a few days not in one sitting. I know that area well. I too was pulled over there when I was in my early 20's. My wife and I used to have fun in that area. :) nice views. I used to get pulled over in my 72 elcamino because I "looked " like a drug dealer and its a dealers car. Thats what the cop said to me. Milpitas is the worst. I was pulled over last month for going 40 in a 35. WTF. I was in my wifes neon RT and with the wheels and spoiler with the dual exhaust and magnaflow it sounds and looks like a ricer car. Because my age he let me go. It might be worth it to go to court in the chance that he wont show.

Everyone hates cops until they need one.

That's true and I had the same out look until my house was being robbed when I came home.. wife called the cops as I chanced.. didn't you know it took the three cop cars from the wawa (by the way is no more then 1 minute away) about 20 minutes to respond! My local cops are over weight and over paid power hungry retards.. I actually know one really well and he agrees. Yes I guess i have an issue with local cops.. I do how ever respect state police and what they do.

I told the cop once when I lived in WA the ticket was a lot cheaper than the front bumper cover (which didn't have holes in it) and I would take the ticket. He never wrote it though.

If you are letting us know first hand because you are a police officer, please learn to speak the grammers more gooder. I am assuming you aren't a state officer because writing like that wouldn't fly...

Local/city/etc police get very very little respect from me (if any at all). However, state and highway patrol get all the respect in the world from me (unless they ain't speak/write the grammers good).

Live1035rulz, you sound typical young, spoiled, and overprotected to me?

Yup, I'm thinkin' I'll just do it online. I'll take this as my used up of freebee, darn. wicked, with a comment like that, I wouldn't give you any more respect than you say you give your local officers. What on earth gives you a right to call me a typical, young, overprotected, spoiled kid? I work harder than almost any kids my age. Indeed in somewhat young. I work hard for everything I have. Overprotected? I was out driving 9 at 1:30 in the morning, got a ticket, came home at 3am, and my parents weren't mad the next morning when I showed them the ticket. I'm not sure if I like you. :squint:

Bummer dude. All of us Highway 9 regulars know the copper hiding spots. They always setup shop past that hump down at the bottom. You want to chill way out after you pass that concrete bridge where the lodge is. Sorry to hear you got a ticket. Got to traffic school, no worries.

Yeah man, I sucked it up and took online traffic school. It was easy stuff. You give up your freebie and can't take it again for 18 months though so be good. ;)

Thanks guys. I'll remember that hot spots from now on. Freebie used. Is it only 18 months? I thought it was a couple years. If so, that's kinda cool.

Your 19..........your toast. 99% of us have been there. You can try to fight, but its somewhat like fighting a pig, everyone gets dirty and the pig likes it.

Haha, I like that analogy. I fought a no seatbelt ticket, which I really was wearing, and I won that one, but I don't suppose 2 for 2 would very super likely.

I got an 81 in a 55 riding in my camaro. ( my speedo said 76... and the speed limit was 60 just 1/2 a mile before ). Hired one of those traffic attorneys ... ended up costing me close to $300 and 2 nights of traffic school....but it came off of my record!!! ---

10 or so years ago, my friends car overheated (blew a radiator house) was on the side of road. The local cop stopped gave us (4 ~21 year old) a bunch of crap. Searched the car, searched us, made us do drunk tests, insiuated the two of with out of town liscense's were drug dealers.

He violated the 4th amendment. It protects you from unreasonable searches and seizures. If he asked you to get out of the car and ask/say if he could search your car (which he has to do) you could've said no and asked him the reason.

One way to get out of a ticket is (if you're my age/5-6 years older and not married) if you get lucky enough to get a girl cop, look straight forward and move forward and backward alittle and when she asks you if you're alright say you just found out your girlfriend was pregant and you don't know whether you should keep it or get an abortion ect. That worked out for my friend...the same friend that took a cop to court to challenge and the cop didn't show so he got it dismissed. He's pretty lucky. That's weirded pretty weird.

On the other hand...the way i stay out of the law is with a radar  It's saved my ass a lot and i'm glad i got it.

when you reply no, this gives him a reason to search so hes going to one way or another. its a trick question to make you think you have rights.

yeah, supervision was a good bet honestly; I've got 8 months left on mine. If you can get any way of taking a ticket W/O points even if you have to pay more it's a good deal IMHO. It's not the tickets that kill you it's the ins. company.
The cops in my area are good for picking up the pieces and not much else; I trust my .357 magnum 10X more then the local cops for protection. My biggest beef with them is that most of them drive worse then the average citizens in the area.
