Well, I got them installed today. The fags at the tire shop put some big nicks in two of them but for the most part they came through OK. No spacers needed here either guys. I took the time to compare the weights between the stock wheel/tire combo vs. the new setup; result - stock setup was between 45-47 lbs. and the new ones are between 48 and 51 lbs...not too bad :D The new tires are actually shorter than the stockers so no performance hit...hell yeah! These look better than I thought they would...I frickin' LOVE them!!! Hopefully, I'll get more action on the streets with the HM2's on there 8) Anyway, here are the pics:

They look very nice and better than I thought they would. I think you need a slightly taller tire or to lower it some more in my opinion though, but I could live with the fenderwell gap. That sucks about the rims getting screwed up though, I would bitch up a storm and get a hold of the highest person because they will usually do everything to calm you down, I work at a firestone dealer and should have warned you to look around when you were having them mounted cause with that sidewall they would be a bitch to mount and usually the morons at the shop are the ones to work on the nice things. Good luck with your street racing.

Thanks guys. Here are the specs:

Hamann HM2 18x8.5 rims (13mm rear, 38mm front offsets, 24 lbs. each). The tires are Kumho Ecsta Supra 255/35/18's all the way around. These fit perfectly and I do mean PERFECTLY. I could have ordered them chrome plated for another $400 but decided not to. These are essentially BMW aftermarket wheels - M5 rear and M3 front. Let me know what else you guys want to know.

Price? Speed rating on the tires? Where did you get them from? I'm over in Germany....would it be best to look for them here?

Ryan,

The speed rating is ZR on the tires and you should be able to find these rims for about $300 each here in the U.S. Since Hamann is a German tuner for BMW's, you'll probably be able to get them cheaper since you live there. I waited like 3 months to have these shipped over from Deutschland

No problem guys. I just got done installing my Baer brakes tonight...what a frickin' nightmare!!! Cutting and grinding those spindles was no fun at all. Anyway, it looks and stops like a mofo :D I'll post some pics of the brakes after I get some sleep, zzz...zzz...
