Just got home....

I was out going to white castle... an ambulance turned its lights on on rt. 46 and was making a u-turn... everyone had to come to a quick stop, as well as myself.... a cherokee behind me ddidnt have the reaction time... you know the drill....

Not exactly sure what I'm gunna need.... I know for a fact I need a tailgate (mighty mouse is kaput :tdown: ) both rear corners, new tail lights...and the rear bumper... ill put pics up in a second.. i gotta upload them...

I took down all the info and reported it... i should be getting the police report in a week...

I have the rare all clear tail lights. PM me if you interested. there in really nice cond..

the corner that is broken up isn't that bad.. it does need to be replaced but i'll take the broken piece..

ill tear it down for you sometime next week, just report the accident to your insurance and get them to cut you a check for the needed parts.

*edit* yar/ray the post above me is the one to go to for new/replacement oem cladding. like i told you on the phone the corner pieces are alot of $, if you want to save $ you could go fiber glass.

i would have said the tail gate and lights needed to be changed before you got hit lol

your truck will be OK, I was picturing the whole rear end destroyed...is the gate dented? kinda hard to tell with that "stuff"on it ;)

nevermind---- I see it, right in the middle right?

I didn't know you put that tailgate on the TY. You originally had that on a regular s10 blazer correct? I recall the person who did that for you passed away as well :(. Sorry about that man.

yeap... it was on the blazer... the artist (Mongo) passsed away not too long ago, he did lots of work in nj and is actually more well known than I thought in the customs/hot rodding scene in nj...

the mural will cost thousands to replace so idk what im gunna do about that :squint:

im thankful that its just cladding replacement, paint, and tail lamp replacement... im thankful there was no damage to the metal in the rear 1/4....and that it was rear damage and not front end damage... this is just an inconveniant annoyance though...as my main focus had been getting a new motor in the truck, and its been taking me forever to save up to get a certain one that I was offered.
