Goodyear belt

Goodyear Gatorback 6 rib belt. # 4060930

My guess is it is a stock size fitment.

I can not read or identify the numbers on my stock belt I have here that was just a take off. I bought this to work with my pulley conversion kit. The instructions they provide for the kits are very misleading and they need to update there stuff.

20$ shipped.

Re: Goodyear belt

Stock belt is 95.6" long.
Non-AC belt is 93.8" long.

That belt fits A LOT of applications, not the least of which is some 2001-2014 LS truck engine main drive belt.

To read that belt:

"40" denotes serpentine belt (others will use "KO" or "PK").
"60" denotes 6 rib.
"930" denotes 93.0" long.

The bottom number is the metric equivalent.

"6" denotes 6 rib.
"PK" denotes serpentine belt.
"2360" denotes 2360mm in length (or 92.9").

Re: Goodyear belt

FWIW, I got my Gatorback with the part #'s from SyTyAuthority.

I am running stock setup. My part # was 4060952 and is 95.25"

This one you're listing (4060930) is 93".

Not sure. Maybe both will work? 460952 fit on mine though.

Re: Goodyear belt

Just curious, so you think this would work with all stock pulleys with the exception of under driven water pump and alternator pulleys? Everything else is stock size...crank, power steering, etc. just the alternator and water pump pulleys are smaller.

Without knowing the required belt length, grab a piece of rope (at least 96" long) and route it like the belt. Emulate the tensioned belt path across the tensioner and mark where the two ends meet. Now measure overall length. You should be awfully close to the desired belt length.

Or borrow an adjustable belt from a parts store. A lot of independent parts stores will have them on hand.
