I know this has been discussed before, but I can't remember if it was or wasn't posible :-? ??? So, can this be done??? A friend of mine told me that he saw a Ty with a GN engine. I told him that he must be confused, but he told me it was true. He says it was from an old friend of him who had blown apart the 4.3 and then got a great deal on a wrecked GN. The guy owned a shop so he did the work by himself. I asked my friend if he did saw the engine bay with the 3.8 and he was absolutely sure.

The thing is that my friend owns a GN :drinking: and he knows what a syty is... Has anyone seen or owns a syty with a GN engine???

P.D. I asked him if he could take me to his friends shop, but he told me he no longer lives there and the shop is no longer there... He told me he moved about 4 years ago and hasn't heard anymore of him :x

The first Sy was GN powered, but it had a firewall that was moved back about 4 inches if I remember right. Anything can be done if you have the right amount of $$

Great info!!! Was this ever produced:

If you want one of your own, all it takes is a turbocharged Buick GN engine, a late model S-10 truck, lots of time and money and the kit that Kenne-Bell is going to make available for the swap

The KB swap kit???

I still see this truck driven on the highways here in StL.

The guy is a GN nut.
There were 11 GNs in front of his shop one night when I cruised by.
