i got a brand new black aluminun, no GMC logo in center, still has shrink on it, you have to cut your old grill pop rivet new one back in, do not want to ruin my stock grill!!, so not putting it in unless i find another headlight grill assembly to use, to answer your ? summit racing has them $66 #sum-g802010 polished billet

I dont think they make them in chrome. Chrome boy Chris Pearson had his done, appearently in real chrome. I remember something about it being a one-guy-in the world-can-do-it kinda thing, bonding the chrome to the plastic.

Look into having a set powdercoated chromish.

I have a chrome grille for a 91-93 GMC. It has the black headlight and center insert. I picked it up pretty cheap here brand new. I don't think they are hard to get a hold of. Sorry, didn't realize you were talking about the letters, thought you were trying to find a chrome grille.

All GMC logo's are plastic chromed with painted letters. It is very easy to chrome plastic. Remember Transformers and Go-Bots. Chromed plastic! If I remove the red paint off my Jimmy GMC emblem and spray it with "chrome" paint, tadah, chromed GMC. Now if you want a billet piece polished be prepared. Bend over and use lots of lube. Cuz U'z 'bout 2 get rizzaped!

I am toying with this Idea, I found a Company in one of the trucking Mag's that sell the billet "GMC" logo, around 89.00 I think
I have the Black "GMC" grill letters now. still wrapped up, from when I purchased them. never even took them out,
My grill was shattered by a redneck hauling gravel on a flat beed trailor, so I purchased one off of E-bay 129.00 or so.
it is a little different than stock although was advertised as a Syclone Grill
it is a one pice unit, and ALL black, ours are black with a grey grill and grey around headlights, but I like the all black, looks cool.
However I dont think the Black GMC Letters on a black grill would look good. so I'm going to get the billet pieces and see how that looks.
