that's the shiz-nittleban-snip-snap-samson!

that glare is only cuz of the flash of the camera though, right? that glare would bug the crap out of me if it was there the whole time. looks like 6 instead of 3 gauges.

do you think the subie one would be close to fitting? That would be a cheap alternative. if someone has a subie and a syty that could pull one speaker cover that would be sweet!

The Subie might be close to fitting, but the front lip would have to be trimmed way back to clear the instrument cluster shroud.
Also, the area towards the rear of the three gauges appears to be too high, I'm pretty sure it would hit the windshield.... this is where I had to spend a lot of time getting that curve just right so that the gauges/cluster could actually be slid into place... it's really tight in there. If you look at the side view pics that I took you can see how the cluster top really hugs the top of the gauges..... hope this helps :D

Oh, anyone can do it... I could show you how in about 10 minutes. The main thing is just having had exposure to different things... doing car stereo for 30 years helped, and building RC airplanes for the past 20 years has taught me a ton of stuff. Wish I had the time, I could put together a short video on how to do it. I think Ken provided a link to a fiberglassing forum... there's probably a ton of info on doing it, somewhere on the web.

Damn that looks nice. Do you have 5 total gauges or 6? I don't know what I would add for gauges. Right now I have three on the pillar, but 6 gauges seem like overkill.

Thanks for the props, guys. I've got a total of 5 gauges - wideband, boost, fuel pressure, tranny temp, and engine temp. I can't really see a need for anything else.

Yea. I have boost, fuel pressure, trans temp. Wideband would be good, maybe someday, but I would need to figure out where to go with it.

Re: Glassing my Gauge Cluster...

I do not want to do pillar gauges and all other gauge installs I've seen do not look right. This looks really nice, excellent work!

I'd be in for one, anyone know a rapid prototyping shop with a 3d scanner? They should be able to replicate this pretty quickly.
