Glass detailing (attention Tyler)

I think Tyler posted something about this awhile back, but I can't find it. If anyone has it, I would appreciate a repost.

He said to use steel wool to clean the out side with it. Not regular dish stuff you want the fine stuff. I think the grit is 00. You can get it at any home-improvement or paint store.

I think you should use 0000 grit. Spray the window liberally with your favorite auto window cleaner and gently go over it with the steel wool. Then wipe it down with a cotton cloth. Cleans it up nice.
I wish I tried it when I first read Tylers post.

Yes! Get as many zeroes as you can.

You can polish the window along with your paint when you are done if you wish...gets really shiny...just be sure that you removed ALL of the small wool particles and apply to polish to the winshield and buff it last just in case.

use car wax the more times you do it the better it comes out and it works like rain-x when it rains out
