After reading about the new clusters in GeorgeBlakes section, I got to thinking. Would it be possible to re-calibrate the tach for 8 cylinders, and make it work with a conventional distributer? We still have the white wire with the original connector, and we tried jumping it to the "tach" connection on the dist, but it didn't work. Also, has anyone successfully removed the boost gauge? It would be nice to get rid of a useless gauge and the 5" tach mounted in the cupholder :?
