Well I cant get my cutout to fully close, so its just slightly open right now. Makes the turbo sound sweet, while not really giving more exhaust noise. I do wishI could get it to close though. Kinda hard to sneek up on people with it open like it is. :lol:

I just hate the way the 4.3 sounds before it huts spool. Sounds just like every other redneck with open headers or rusted out exhausted n/a 4.3 :roll: :lol:
But you can hear everything the engine is doing when its not "loaded" in drive. I cant tell what noise mine makes, as I'm not sure what I'm hearing. Sounds almost as if its blowing out the spark while at idle. But as soon as you put it in drive or reverse it sound smooth. :dunno:

There will be some stoopid antics I'm sure. I'd be willing to bet that neither me nor Jonathan have to carry a trash bag full of empty bottles to the dump at the end of the meet (and you won't want to walk through the woods barefoot either).
Man, I'm getting anxious to get the hell out of here!

beer chucking i almost forgot about that, and i thought my ass could through it to the interstate that night(yea kinda drunk)
yea i know that the house keepers in daytona were WTF damn they drink alot.
but yea i think we might be getting into something.
Tranny went in last night!!!!!!!!Drivetrain is back together. and all is left is boost controller and alky that is for tonight.
but i didn't get a chain for the pocket bike but i might beable to rig the old one to work if i can get sometime.
i know i am so ready

Has the schedule for the classes been posted yet? Is test and tune at 9 or 10? I read on the f-body site that they were looking at an "x" class for non-F-bodies. Does anyone know what time that is running?

track opens at 9, racing starts at 10. we will be racing the entire time, except when the class racing starts between the f bodys. inbetween classes we can run again. we can also run in the xclass if anybody wants to compete.

Had a great time....too bad we all raced like pure ass. Call it the track, weather, karma, whatever....it was friggin depressing. For all of you wondering, the 22 sec run was a result of turning the boost control up too high (on accident) and seeing if the chip likes 31 psi. Thank god for methanol and fuel cuts.
Nobody ran worth a crap.....Tim and I were both off a full second from our normal times and Waller was off about 4 seconds from his proper time (I'll let him reiterate). But, the fun for me was hanging out and raising hell.
I'll let the FL guys get home and start a new thread.
Also, wanted to thank everybody for coming out (FL guys, TN guys, Waller and the gang, etc...). You guys made it fun.
