gas pedal came apart??

first time this has ever happened.

I was in the ty the other day and my shoe got under the gas pedal and i didn't realize it... when i went to get out of the ty my foot caught the pedal and i heard a snap sound... looked around didnt notice anything... today i drove it to the store and the gas pedal came off. When i got home there was a bolt lookin thing, the spring and the pedal on the floor. one of the flanges on the pedal is busted off. I already have a spare gas pedal from my sy so i'm good on the part.

Now i get that the bolt goes through the pedal through the throttle "rod"?, but how the eff does the spring go? Maybe someone can sneak their phone behind the pedal and snap a photo of theirs?? I can't figure this out at all. I'm ready to go buy a different bolt and some washers and just rig this up without the spring

i have all the parts i need, i just haven't got a clue how the hell it all goes together

Make all the injectors loose soak it with gasoline and burn it like you should have years ago.

With full coverage of course.

Drive it and let it burn will be helpful.
