G Tech pro equivalent

Hey guys,

I searched here but could not find it.

Was there a performance meter w/the same features as the G tech ,but is less $$$ ?

I thought there is ,,or what do you guys like to use that is accurate?

I have one but still have yet to ever use it.. I've heard its very accurate though.

What is the price range on it? Just curious. It would be a later add on because I am totally broke now.

If you have an iphone / ipod touch, there are a couple of apps that you can install that do the same thing... check out dynolicious, and also pocket dyno+, and g-force.

There is also another one that is called rev that with a special cable is able to display all of your odb diagnostics and sensors in real time on the screen.

i have a Gtech Pro SS, i hardly ever use it, but when i did on my WS6, it was 1/4 mile accurate by about .1~.2 seconds.

Anyone had any luck finding the Beltronics Vector FX2 lately? I was going to get one, but was not sure if they quit making them.

I have looked a few times for them.
They do seem hard to find.
Mine works great & have used it in a few cars, really accurate.
It seems Beltronics specialize in Radar detectors more so.

Presumably Rev is for OBDII. I haven't seen anything that will do OBDI on an iphone....

Yes. I have both REV and DashCommand. They work pretty well, but only on OBDII vehicles. The interface cable costs over $100, but I can use it with my PLX gauges to display boost gauge on my iPhone (not that my I need it yet).
