Funny sounds from drivetrain.

Clunk, CLUNK GOES THE DRIVETRAIN. New Tranny, 20K Miles T-CASE FROM sytynut, brandon front driveshaft, rebuilt rear driveshaft. Also very loud very deep humming sound coming from front-end while turning. Please need some ideas!!!

A bent cross member or out of place one will do that, check it!

new cross member and it is good have checked it twice.

marc, what about front hubs and cv joints? if you drive real slow does it do it. if so have your wife drive the truck slowly while you walk beside it listening for the noise. did you ever find you vacuum leak under the dash?

Nope on the vac haven't even had time to do that since ty was in shop last week gettin the t-case and new shafts. as far a noises no it does not do it going slow. when on hwy if you let off gas it slows down and is not as loud but touch the gas and its loud again. you can start hearing the sound at about 15 mph on up! it makes that funny sound turing if your going 5mph.

or front end if thats what a rearend sounds like when it's on it's last leg then add the strang sound coming from the front end while turning and you got a front end going out i guess!!!FUck
