Is there a o ring on the fuel line where it threads into the bottom of the regulator? Noticed a leak there today so i pulled it apart and there is no o ring there , should there have been? size?

Re: Fuel line under regulator question.

2-18416 is the Napa fuel line O-ring set part number.

Yup. Any parts store should be able to provide it. I've also found them at the dealer. I like the dealer ones only because they look like a more correct material. No clue if they really are. I think you can also get an o-ring kit that will include that ring along with all the others. (inj's, regulator, and fuel supply) Also I think fuel supply and return are the same.

Doing some research I found this: Be sure to double check.

There are 2 different sized o rings in the package i just picked up, the smaller one goes on the line that threads into the bottom of the regulator, where does the larger one go? Regulator to fuel rail?

Nope. Fuel pressure (supply) line to rail.

Re: Fuel line under regulator question.

Anyone know the part number or size of the o ring needed from the regulator to the fuel line?

Re: Fuel line under regulator question.

It's in my post above. If you're talking about the -rail- to the regulator it's the same as an inj o-ring.

I also managed to use Dorman 799-451 universal kit. Used a
1/4"ID x 3/8"OD x 1/16"W and a 5/16"ID x 7/16"OD x 1/16"W.

The kit also had the right size o-rings for the high pressure power steering line to steering box. So far so good, no leaks.

I know this sounds stupid but do i just go to the dealer and ask for an injector o ring for a 1993 Typhoon?

Yes. I know that 90% of the parts people out there are completely lost without something to punch into their computer but I think inj o-rings are a pretty standard part. You may have to buy the complete kit though. I doubt you can buy just one.

The only stupid question is the one you don't ask.

So which part number is the regulator to rail o ring?
