Fuel Level Sender unit - Part# ?

Would anyone happen to have a compatible part number for a fuel level sender unit for a Syclone?

My trucks fuel level meter bounces all the way up to full if it drops below a 1/4 tank. I tried calling GM for a part number but the only way they have it listed is over $300 for the fuel pump and wiring assembly.

I have a spare one from a ty if they are interchangable or not, I don't know.

I have no idea if they fuel tanks are the same in both trucks? Anyone?

Even if they are I cant imagine shipping anything from Manitoba to south Florida would be fast in any way shape or form =)

nope the tanks are different depths I believe.

The only part # I see is the assembly.
Go to a GM dealer and have them pull up the fuel tank sending unit assembly and see if the float and switch are sold separately.

Try www.rockauto.com. They sell products from a company called Spectra Premium. You can also visit their website at www.spectrapremium.com. They make really nice parts. They actually make the gas tank for the new GTOs. The fit is perfect too. Ive used their parts plenty of times with no problems and they are very reasonable. Running one of their sending units in my S10 right now in fact.
